2010 Clinic

When: March 14, 2010
Where: Friends' Central School Shimada Gym- 1101 City Ave, Wynnewood

The 2010 Chris Campbell Clinic promises to be a great experience for 1st-5th graders looking to have fun learning soccer from incredible instructors. The staff consists of high school and college athletes and coaches, both boys and girls. Almost all of the staff members are fortunate enough to call themselves close friends of Chris and/or the Campbell family. In addition, many of the instructors are themselves part of F & M's Africa Project, the educational endeavor to which the proceeds will be donated.

The first portion of the clinic is dedicated to skill. Participants will go through a series of stations, each targeting a different talent or skill set. The methods of instruction are unique and interesting, varying from types of educational games to specifically designed drills. Next, there will be a round-robin of scrimmages during which participants will be able to try out the new skills they have just acquired. Finally, parents are invited to join their children for this year's guest speaker, F&M Coach Dan Wagner. Last year, Coach Wagner introduced us to his Africa Project--much has been accomplished since then, and he will speak to the current activity his project has seen in South Africa.

The Chris Campbell Clinic was developed by students close to the Campbell family, and will continue to be run by Friends' Central soccer players and alumnae. As a result, the clinic retains a grassroots feel because of its history, but enjoys a professional level of quality because of its exceptional staff and support system. Please join us this April for the clinic!
